Refund Policy

 

This refund policy is applicable for all the domestic and international participants of the #15thIMC - Inclusive Insurance for Emerging Market. Coping with Climate Risk.

 

Note that since there is no option for cancelling registration, no refund application will be approved for the upcoming #15IMC-Inclusive Insurance for Emerging Market once you have registered and made the payment. 

If you are not able to attend the conference for any unexpected issue, BIA or any other party is not subject to refund the paid amount.

Be informed that we are not liable for visa refusal or immigration related issues. Upon your request, we can recommend and request the immigration authority but BIA or the conference authority will not be held responsible for any difficulties. Therefore, no refund will be accepted upon immigration difficulties.

As per the Terms and Conditions of the authority, we agree to the Cancellation Refund Policy for any cancellation occurring before 11:59 PM local time zone (CEST) on 15 October 2019, the full registration fee will be refunded minus a $50 processing fee and any bank transfer charges. No refunds will be issued for cancellations occurring after this deadline. Refunds may take up to 20 working days to process.

Participants can only apply for a refund on the following grounds:

  • Medical – hospital admission or serious injury. Diagnosis reports will have to be attached with the application form to validate the claim
  • Loss or bereavement – death of parent, guardian, spouse, brother/sister or child. Death certificates will have to be submitted to validate the claim
  • Hardship/trauma – victim of crime, victim of traffic accident  

*** If you apply for refund on these following grounds, you will have to provide proper documentation in order to validate the reason of the refund.
